As some of you already know, ASSASSIN continues the Demon Kissed story in a post-apocalyptic world from Eric’s point-of-view. If you have been following the series all along, this story swiftly picks up where book #5 leaves off.
If you haven’t read any of the books in the series yet, you can start here. The Demon Kissed series has three entry points, all of which follow one of the three main characters: Collin, Ivy, or Eric.
Chronologically, VALEFAR VOLUMES occur first and are told from Collin’s point-of-view. Next is DEMON KISSED books 1-5. These are told from Ivy’s perspective. These five books follow her fate and move from innocent YA into something a little more intense. FALL OF THE GOLDEN VALEFAR books occur after Ivy assumes her fate. They follow Eric’s story and echo the darkness from Ivy’s final book with more mature themes (and romances).
Why is Eric getting hot romance stuff in his books? Well, as you already know, Eric is a totally hot, twisted guy. That automatically throws this part of the series into some spicier love scenes. Add to that, the love interest isn’t what she seems, and our untamable Eric might not be as evil as we thought–or maybe he is. You’ll have to read ASSASSIN to find out!
